What is the WBT? Women's Bassmaster Tour
The WBT tournament trial is the only national organization for women who want to pursue competitive bass fishing among their peers. The pro/co-Angler format of the WBT provides a venue, for both the pro(boater) and co-angler(non-boater) bass anglers alike, while gaining national recognition and reward for their accomplishments. The schedule consists of 5 tournaments of 100 boats that compete for 2 days. The top 25 pros/co-anglers then advance to the 3rd and final day of competition. Co-anglers complete with co-anglers and pros compete with pros. The co-angler is paired with a different pro on each competition day. Co-anglers have the opportunity to fish a tournament with some of the most recognized and accomplished professional women anglers in the fishing industry. For the 2007 season, the WBT boasts a payout of $85,940.00 for pros and $46,540.00 for co-anglers in cash & merchandise prizes awarded at each tour event. Gateway Bass'n Gals Support for WBT

Our club encourages our members to participate on the WBT. Several club members are currently competing on the WBT. Plus, our club provides anglers who finish in the top five with cash payouts intended to offset the entry fees and expenses to 1 of the 5 WBT events.
